Before co-founding EqualLevel, Orville Bailey compiled many years of experience in eCommerce, B2B spend management, and corporate leadership. As CEO, Orville is responsible for overall company strategy, business development, and sales and marketing. 

Prior to EqualLevel, Orville co-founded and served as CEO for B2eMarkets, a pioneer and leader in the enterprise eSourcing market. In this capacity, Orville helped raise over $60 million in venture investment, across four rounds of funding for B2eMarkets, and led the company to a successful exit to VerticalNet in 2004. Prior to B2eMarkets, he was Vice President of Commercial Operations for GE’s joint venture with Thomas Publishing, TPNRegister, an early leader in B2B Spend Management. As an executive with GE, Orville led many early eCommerce initiatives, most notably in the areas of procurement, supply chain management and strategic sourcing. 

Orville earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
