EqualLevel is seeking a part-time Web Developer to support our eCommerce software UI/UX development, as well as various other implementation projects.

Responsibilities

• Create well-designed eCommerce web-sites compliant to EqualLevel design standards and web development best practices
• Create website layouts and user interfaces with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Work with EqualLevel Product Management team and Solution Implementation team to gather and refine design specifications and requirements
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Ensure website site security
• Create technical documentation for the web-sites created

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, software development, or related field
• Web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap
• UI/UX Design experience
• Working knowledge of graphic design

• Content management systems (CMSs) such as WordPress, Joomla, and Squarespace
• REST API development
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or Agile methodology
