Orville Bailey

Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder

In 2010, Orville Bailey and Edward Potocko co-founded EqualLevel. As CEO, Orville is responsible for overall company strategy, business development, and sales and marketing.  

Orville has an extensive background in eCommerce, B2B spend management, and corporate leadership. Prior to EqualLevel, he co-founded and served as CEO for B2eMarkets, a pioneer and leader in the enterprise eSourcing market. During his tenure at B2eMarkets, Orville helped raise over $60 million in venture investment, across four rounds of funding, and led the company to a successful exit to VerticalNet in 2004. 

Prior to B2eMarkets, Orville served as Vice President of Commercial Operations for GE’s joint venture with Thomas Publishing, TPNRegister, an early leader in B2B Spend Management. As an executive with GE, Orville led many early eCommerce initiatives, most notably in the areas of procurement, supply chain management and strategic sourcing.

Orville earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
